Anyone running a Killshot 17.5t in blinky TC?
I just bought a Killshot 17.5t which will be going into a touring car for the 17.5 blinky series. Any experience with one? Are they any good for Touring car?

Gear it between 3.5/4.0 depending on track size and layout. Keep the timing between 45°/ 55° and they are a very fast but they do go up in smoke but it is usually in the first few runs but if you get the gearing and timing right and get passed the first couple of race days they are dependable.

all motors are timed different. some even with built in timing. 50-55 timing is a sweet spot for medium to large sized tracks with the killshot. This is with a 12.5 tq rotor

Hey Josh, are you the guy that raced as Speedworld with me in 17.5 Sun?
I ran a killshot 17.5, two races so far works great, won both

Yeah that's me. The guy that started last and finished second right behind you. Rough day of qualifying. That's what happens when you get 10plus people in a heat. Good luck with that motor though. I heard people were wanting me to get tore down. It would have been the third time. I would have done it there too. Lol

I have the high torque with a fdr ratio of 3.8, 45° timing and it's a little slower than a d3.5. Starts to fade around 165° so make sure you have a good fan.
I run on a tight track with one long straightaway on outdoor asphalt.
