At the race this weekend it just looks like the faster guys are able to drive in deeper and just turn, where as I would have to tap the brakes and still slow down sooner to make the same turn. Thanks for any help.

Forgot to mention that I am running on medium grip asphalt.
It sounds more like the rear has too much grip. Try reducing the rear toe to 2°, raise the lower roll center by adding shims (1mm)under the rear suspension blocks(remember to readjust the droop and ride height) and lowering the rear shock positions on the shock tower (start laying them down).

More corner entry? On top of what has been said, lessen the front droop, stand up the rear shock a bit.

I prefer 2.5 toe to 2 myself, but its worth trying as long as the car doesnt over-rotate.

You can lengthen the rear wheelbase by moving shims to the front of the rear arm to reduce rear grip helping the car to rorate, also. There are several ways to attack the problem.

Thanks GasGod

That was the first place I looked can you recommend one? I also forgot to mention that I am running a 17.5. Does that change things?

Another quick question

What size are the little set screws that secure the belt cam adjusters? None of my metric wrenches seem to fit (weird).

I use both 1.5mm and 1/16" for them.

you can also undo the 4 screws holding the top bulkheads to set belt tension and centering

Thanks John I'll take a look again. I ended up removing the upper bulk head to adjust the belts.

Thanks Brandon for the setup recommendation. Had a chance to try it out the past few days and it works well. Made a couple of tweaks to the rear end and I'm liking it!

Anyone have a used roller for sale? I checked the for sale section with no luck..

Good to hear that setup worked. I use that setup with just minor tweaks also. I was in the same boat with wanting to find a 2nd D07 and could not find any. I came across Alex Pate, the owner of gripworks RC, and he happened to have a car he ended up selling me. I would recommend hitting him up and see what he has. PM him he gets responds quickly.

Unfortunately I'm fresh out of roller chassis, I do have a new d08 (far superior imho) and a new ghost evo rm (still a great car)
Lots of d07/08/ghost evo spares though
