You'll have to glue it down. I don't think the servo tape will hold. Shoe Goo works well.

With your trim settings, are you using regular trim or subtrim?

When you have your trim with uneven values such as -40 to the right. That should sound off some alarm bells with your steering setup. As I pointed out this is obviously due to your servo. In the mean time, you can still use the servo, but the steering throw should be adjusted independently left and right. If you adjust it as a whole which you have been doing, then you're going to run into your problem you mentioned above.

Hope this helps.

I run my car pretty much stock setup on relatively high traction carpet. The only changes are 450cst oil, 10k on the side dampers and 5lbs side springs. Rest is stock setup.

On the black carpet, I am running stock side and center springs on the rear, 650 cst oil, 2 hole piston. Battery is forward about 6-6.5mm from the rear posts, 1-1.5mm rear droop, 15k oil in dampener tubes. CRC .50mm front springs, 4mm spacers above the steering knuckle, 3 deg upper arm mounts, long upper arms. CRC blue tires front and rear, or CRC spec front tires, blue rears. CRC blackart lola body. Had to add about 36g of lead to reach 730g min weight, this is a super light car! Car handles awesome.

Handy tip I figured out. Get a second shock mounting bracket and double up with the stock one. Stock 2.5mm screws are still long enough, just need a longer screw for the front shock mount ball. Less flex in the shock mount, more consistent handling, and less chance of breaking it in a hard crash.

Another tip, for the front ride height spaces. Take some extra 0.5mm spacers and apply one or two layers of thick clear tape to the spacers. I use Gorilla brand clear repair tape. Each layer adds about 0.15mm thickness. Now you can get between the standard 0.5mm steps, which is a big deal on carpet. I have one set of spacers with a single layer of tape for 0.65mm and one set with a layer on both sides, for 0.8mm.

Will a standard size servo fit (I thought to balance weight) this car or any recommendations on a mini that bolt right up? I thought about the 9650, but I'm new to 1/12 and worried it might strip. I wanted to try Savox however I read it cannot be centered without gluing. Id like to use the chassis mounts without hassle.

i agree with you...i am always working on the diff to create something smoother. i'm considering the pro-one swap once i run out of standard off-set mounted tires. i find it difficult to launch from a dead stop...starts are terrible for me. my recent return to 1/12 could have alot to do with that though...

The stock diff rings are pretty rough, and not always very flat. I sent a bunch of the stock rings to Fred at B-Fast to be resurfaced. Much smoother now. One ring was so far off flat that he couldn't fix it, lol. I've also run notched CRC diff rings, also redone by B-Fast. And I use Serpent ceramic diff balls. Waiting for the spacer to be back in stock at Desoto so I can use the Serpent caged thrust bearing assembly that comes stock on the S100LTR.

Most recently in building the diff on my F110, I used the steel diff balls and the Hudy Diff Grease. Wet sanded the rings with 600 grit and brake cleaner. Walked around Snowbirds for an hour breaking it in by hand (holding one side and spur and turning the other, then the other side) chatting with folks. It was decent when i started, smooth when i put it in the car, and felt amazing after the first run and a re-adjustment.

Feels just as smooth as my BFast SRX4 diff with Serpent Diff Grease.
