I've assembled one some months ago, ran two packs, put it back in the box.

Shocks are crappy, I have to rebuild them after 2 packs. The best to do is to use the teflon inserts from the TCXX in the bottom of the shocks, it can make them more constant...

After that, that's always the same, you run indoor, go for pink-silver/silver-blue/green-pink... If you run outdoor, go for silver-silver. That's a good start point.

Well i finally got it built, waiting on esc and motor to get here. need to order up some orange washers - the lower a-arms have too much play in them plus need some for tuning. got a hold of an older BNIP Moorespeed Andy Moore replica body, i just love that paint scheme!

I used a sharpie oil marker, you can get them at Michael's. i sealed the edge's 1st with CA glue then used the oil marker. I think it adds some touch to i, makes it look nice.

Got a issue i think, would someone let me know whats wrong here, got this built and was trying to get ride height set but the only way i can get it set is with about 2mm to 3mm of play in the shock spring when you lift the tires off the board, set it back down and ride height is 5.5 rear and 5 front, but when you pick it back up the springs get loose. is this normal or do i have something wrong somewhere. this is my 1st on road car. i do a lot of offroad racing and have never had this kind of problem in any of my cars. any help would be much appreciated.

You need to set droop using the set screws in the arms. You have too much drrop which is allowing the arms to fall down too far and thus making your springs loose. You only need about 1 to 2 mm of droop.

I've got the droop set as per instructions to 8mm front and 9mm rear with car setting flat on board and measuring from board to center of chub hinge pin. most of the team drivers setup sheets use this same measurement. i'm at a loss here.

Is anyone still racing this chassis in 17.5 or 21.5 usgt? I'm looking to pick one up and try it out. I want to compare this chassis to my destiny car!

Can you please tell me What's the part number on the TCXX Teflon inserts and who makes those springs?

No. Would just prefer to use blades to help outdrives and driveshafts last longer.
