Not sure what brand he is using but I've been using Tworks titanium turnbuckles for over a year on both my Pro5s without a break or bend. Can find them on ebay for about $30 shipped to your door but takes some time.

Parts should not be an issue for HB any more. The new company said they were serious about fixing that going forward. From looking at the overseas warehouse, everything has been in stock and still is and now in the US locally as well. Hopefully now that the availability has been addressed, they can look at an update. I know there was some things being tested before the onroad team was broken up with the split with HPI. Would love a Pro5v2 that goes bigger bore short shocks like everyone else with drop towers. Maybe an updates to the c-hubs to strengthen then for carpet racers and work out some of the extra slop in the steering. Otherwise, car is money!

To add to this, and strengthen the knuckles.

Default Hiro Seiko Orange Aluminum Screws

Not much chatter about the Pro5, I recently built one and have been impressed. I just purchased some orange Hiko Seiko screws that added a little more blink to the car and shaved off a couple grams.

The kit is quite cool but I'm not sure what they have been trying to do with the shocks... HB/Tamiya shocks were the reference for a long time, and now, they decide to remove the teflon insert to put two o-rings... The guidance is so approximative... Quite unusable for me...

Well I'm not sure anyone is posting in this section anymore but I've looked though all the pages and see there's been concern over the chubs, got my pro5 today and it looks great! Lots of spares unopened spare gear diff and many spare chubs.... along with some pro 4 ones which was odd!

Comparing pro 4 and 5 it's easy to notice that the dimensions are the same! In fact mine is currently fitted with some graphite ones, here's a few photos also of the steering block which looks comparable too!

Dunno, might be old news but thought it worth posting incase not and save moving over to yok parts etc and also would mean ally pro4 ones could also be an option if so desired. Need to get this built up asap! :-)

Even the PRO 4 C Hubs are getting hard to find - I got 1 set here and had to go overseas for the others. Tower is supposed to have the new PRO5 C hubs back in stock (along with other parts I hope) - those C hubs are not supposed to break as much as the stock ones. Looks like even the HB C hubs from the TC series of cars will work, you just don't need to set screw.

Ah righto fair enough, was just surprised to see pro4 ones on it. Over here in the UK pro4 parts are still quite easy to obtain, I know of one ex stockist who has a box of bits and not long ago still had a new in box one!
