No tuning parts included. No spare orange washers at all either so you'll need some.

Tuning parts needed depend on your track... Toe blocks, front diff if you like one as I do. Besides that my cars are stock.

You'll need your standard spare parts like arms, knuckles, c-hubs

The outer hinge pins are unique, I also bought a few of the carbon steering arms for the front knuckles. The car comes with a spare v1 knuckle set and the non carbon steering arms

So what's the verdict on the Pro 5: Thumbs up or Thumbs down? Chris you don't get to vote!

I'm still bashing around with pretty much Chris' setups in my TCXXs with the Arrowmax chassis and living large in VTA and USGT. Still debating about buying the Pro 5.

im a little biased but my opinion is that this is a more stable platform than the TCXX. It seems to turn better, respond to adjustments better, it just seems to do everything better. All the little things do add up and make it a great car.

I have not found a Pro5 kit available to buy here in USA. I am also very discouraged by how difficult it will be to get spare parts and tuning option parts.

Has the car been released to the public yet? Maybe the ones out now are still pre-production prototypes... I thought HB/HPI resolved the whole US distribution fiasco a while back.

At this point HPI couldn't sell free water in the desert.

I think there are some online hobby stores overseas that sell the Pro5 kit. However it is still very difficult to get HPI parts to the USA.

I remember when Hobbico bought all of HPI USA's assets two years ago. I don't think Hobbico is stocking up on Pro5 kits or parts.

I love the look of the Pro 5. If there was a store in the USA that sold the Pro 5 and carried the spare/option parts, I would get one.

Here is a pic of Ty Tessmann's Pro 5 getting ready for the Reedy Race of Champions.

Here's a pic of Ty's shell...

Seriously though, it looks like he is running a high voltage savox servo. Unless they have moved away from orange as their color for standard voltage. If it is a high volt, why?

As I remember, I always had to buy my Hot Bodies Cyclone TC parts overseas and it never was a problem. My TCXXs are the same although there are a few more parts available through US sources, but the option parts I all got overseas. It just takes a few days longer.
