Excellent news! All that needs to happen now is that they change the black and orange back to purple!

+1 If I wanted orange, I would have gotten the Xray...

If it were all black, Id probably think about getting one. I like the stealth look. All that bright colored anno gets annoying to me no matter what the color is.

It is all black really, just a few shims and things are orange for accent. I love the purple, but I can see why they made the change. All the HB Race chassis are Orange in off-road and have been for a while now.

Yes from the photos it appears the orange is just spacers etc. I used to run a TCXX and they look great with all the purple

the 2 post above are correct you could easily and cheaply change out the orange shims for black and the car would be as stealth as you want it to be .

You drive your cars without their shells often?

Looks like a good car, I was keen to buy one but they may have missed the boat.

Myself and a lot of local racers are buying new kits now to build over the break for next year.

I was disappointed that the team drivers like Andy Moore did not do the opening round of the ETS series as it would be good to see the Pro 5 running against Volkers BD7 2015, Marc's 419 and Hagbergs T4 2015 - all the best cars in the world together on carpet.

That is true, it appears that maybe HPI/HB are not committed to the ETS as much as we could hope. Andy Moore races a lot in Asia so maybe that is the companies current focus?

Andy Moore and JJ Wang were at the AOC final at Yatabe arena in November. They both made the Mod A-main with Ronald Volker, Naoto Matsukura, Hayato Matsuzaki and Meen Vejrak. I think if they were able to do well against Yokomo's top guns they could do the same at the ETS. I'm sure in the new year Andy's schedule might have an ETS race included, but will see. They are working diligently to test/refine parts to make sure they release the best possible product.

Let's hope so, it will be great to see car out again in the hands of Andy and JJ up against the top drivers.
