When you display a shelf queen, do you display it or without:

I have mine with: chassis, body, and wheels/tires. I don't put electronics in it. But you can.

If you display you car with the tires on, raise the chassis off the shelf to keep the tires from flat-spotting.

If the wiring is clean looking then Def with electronics. No body. I like having alloy wheels that match the alloy of the kit.

Oh good I thought I was being neurotic (I was mostly thinking unloading the hydraulic dampers). Does that apply to foams and rubber tires?

More with foam, but rubber tire will dry rot and flat spot.

Not just any electronics either. lol.

I've joked around with a few guys about wanting to make the most expensive car possible, using an Awesomatix and a black diamond ESC. Maybe use solid gold for balance weights. Then use it for VTA

Using this combo to just sit on a shelf...Awesome! You know there are probably a bunch of budget racers out there cursing him endlessly for this.
