Tekin gen2 17.5
Racing 1/10 onroad touring car 17.5 blinky indoor carpet. Is this motor competitive or what Would you recommend?

I ran one and it seemed to have the speed in the straights as some other cars, but since its not a D3.5, its apparently crap.
If you dont have a motor the Tekin may not be the one to get. I get them because I like how Tekin supports the military. Orca, Team Powers, Trinity D4, these seem to be "the" motors. But, unless you can run a race with zero (I sure cant) errors, and your only a tenth or two off the top five at your track, it doesnt matter what motor you have. A faster motor will just put you in the wall harder. I would say get any motor you like and get your tuning and driving skills down. Only then will a $150 5% motor make a difference.
