Default LRP or Hobbywing

Looking at a 17.5 motor and looking at the lrpX20 and the hobbywing V10 also I would be looking at getting the same in 13.5 also ??????

Mind if I ask why those are your only choices?

The reason I ask is that neither are very common choices for spec class racing, at least not in my area. Trinity, Team Powers, Team Scream, ORCA, Hacker, ShurrSpeed, Reedy and several others are more popular choices for 17.5 blinky and 13.5 blinky

R1wurks is a beast. At our track it's beaten only by the D3.5

Every track will be different depending on who's winning races. At ours the top three run orca. But those people were winning with other motors as well. I'd say lrp probably a safer bet but I'd personally like try hobbywing v10 as well.
Every motor has its own characteristic.
