My Traxxas Rally GT8
hello everyone, I have a traxxas rally 1/10 that I transform into an onroad car. My first intension was to get the XO-1 but my budget was a bit short so instead I got the rally roller off ebay and start woking my way to get it into what its now lol. I got the roller cause I already have electronics that I can drop in (MMM/2200) but before I put this combo in I wanna make sure my driveline can withstand all that power so, I pick up tekno M6 cvd along with XO-1 c-hubs/carriers, diffusers, XO-1 diffs, and 3 GT8 bodies (PF8, DP8 & DTM)
fresh roller
XO-1 c-hub/carriers and tekno M6
pro trac arms and XO-1 CVD repair kit #6757
hybrid CVD (XO-1 stub axles/tekno M6 dogbones
front installed with GTR shocks
rear
more.....

after I did all that ^^^ I'm thinking what if I use the XO-1 diffuser/splitters? so, order the XO diffuser/splitters, few days later showed up in my mailbox. so, start tinkering of how I can mount them on the Rally chassis. first, I cut the side diffuser and glued them.
front splitter turned upside down to make up with the angle of the bulkhead, this way it will stay straight with the chassis line
trim this part to free the arms
trim off this part of the arm to clear the diffuser

in order for me to fit this X3 body, I have to modify my rear shock tower to get it lower and shortened the suspension.
I cut it like so (ignore the top piece)
with a piece of plastic sheet, I cut my design mock up mount.
next to the actual mount (mount piece cut from my T-Maxx chassis)
finished...the part I said to "ignore the top piece" used it as brace
shortened suspension by putting those blue rubber damper inside
one done compared to without damper inside
here's before I did all that^^^^
the body fits but its touching the inside part which causes the paint to chip

Seems like a lot of work just to fit one body ... So what if u wanna put another body n can u use existing mounts ? Or have to throw a differnt setup in there

Bought an HR LCG aluminum front bulkhead, this should give the front much stiffness/strength.
