I don't think people realize that this is a PRETTY DEEP undercut to bring in the side pods without making the shell a five piece body. Some of the popular shells now days are soooooo much work to get looking good that it breaks your heart the first time it takes a lick. With these two shells being one piece, it's much easier to get it looking good and on the track making laps.

Now if someone could just make a jig for each chassis to make cutting out the bodies easier.

Hope you make the next round so we can chat some more and just need to get you behind the wheel of a RC F1 car now.

Side note: The '13 and '14 F1 bodies look better than a Crown Vic !

Hey Panda, that was me, not Dale. See you soon at TQ.

I think they look great, considering the constraint that they were going to be one-piece bodies (and I thank you for that). Two on order at the hobbyshop, just got to get the car finished.

Hi, I ordered one of these two weeks ago and today when I called Protoform
they informed that they are having problems with the molds and do not know when they will be able to ship. I cancelled the order and will get a body from
Hong Kong. If you ordered one you better be able to wait some time to get it.
Regards

I apologize for the wait. We ran into some issues since these bodies have more undercut than any body we've ever done, but these issues have since been resolved. I can confirm that F1 bodies are now shipping.

I think these are a great effort. There has to be a demand for a single piece "race oriented" bodies. Unfortunately, F1 cars get uglier every year so Mr. Epp really didn't have much to work with.

I agree with Dale that the cars of the 80's and 90's looked the best. I would love to see his take on a Ferrari 126c2 or any BMW powered Brabham!

Ordered the 13 thru my LHS. Glad to have more F1 body choices that are readily available. Just wished it came with a wing set.

Glad to know Eric. I have been getting e-mails everyday pushing the date back by a day. Hopefully they will ship on Friday as that was the date I got today

I would immediately buy a Ferrari 126C2, even more a 126CK.

Hi Eric,

When do you expect shops in europe to have those F1 shells?

Will these fit both the TRF101 and WTF-1 cars?

The TRF101 for sure yes, we actually used a 101 for the photo shoot.

I haven't tried to mount one to the CRC but since their takes F104 style bodies and wings, I would assume ours would fit just fine.
