VORTEX VST2 or X20

I have been using X20 and is time to get a new motor. Want to know how does the X20 compare to the VORTEX VST2? Who has more torque and top speed? Does the VORTEX VST2 use big bearing like X20? Does the VORTEX VST2 good standing with high heat? Also if you know any modify motor with higher torque (top speed is not necessary) then X20, please recommend. thank you.

An even-wind (4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, etc) X20 with the standard rotor is probably the best option if you are looking for a mod motor with a lot of torque. A lot of LRP team drivers use the 12 mm rotor just because the stock rotor is so torque-y and difficult to drive. I don't know of any other mod motor that has as much low-end rip and torque.

Half-wind (4.5, 5.5, 6.6, etc) will be a lot smoother.

What is it that makes the half winds smoother? What characteristic of how they are built?
