Default Tire warmers

How long time do I got from I take the tire warmers and till the tires are cold again?

Reason for asking, are that I'm running in a casual club, where races not just start at excat time...

Hard to say. On a cold winter day in Minnesota, your spit will freeze and crack before it hits the ground.

I might be able to pull out some thermodynamics formulas and calculate the heat transfer of rubber to air, but whats the point? Its probably less than 10 mins.

On the outside the tires may be cool... but inserts are still warm. Thus the tires will warm up faster. I use it all the time in cold or nighttime racing... and works great.

I use Eagle tire warmers and to keep the tires nice and warm up to the start of the race I put the warmers on with the wires underneath so I can take them off quickly just before the race when I'm out on the track. Even with the battery disconnected it still retains a lot of heat within the warmers

Thanks guys.

I'm running on indoor carpet, but we dont got regular radiators, so in the winter, it gets pretty cold. Around 5-8 degrees celcius.

By the way, it's the Eagle warmers I'm looking at...
