In case you have not got the 419 yet, I hope it will help show the details of the car.

Thanks for the great write up, awesome stuff and helpful. I should have mine any day.

QUESTION - you mention in your blog the shim set part #58585. I have searched and cannot find those. Are you sure that is the part number?

Should be 53585. Likely to be readily available...

I think I always was....

Now to rebuild and sell off the 418 to recoup the small fortune I just spent on fluorine coated hex balls

Hiro Seiki need to hurry up and release a screw kit too. I don't want to use the tamiya stuff again.

I did a little test and ran a mixture of tamiya and HS titanium screws on the underside for a while. The tamiya ones are trashed and the HS ones still look brilliant. They are definitely made of tougher stuff (well, heat treated correctly more likely)

Guess that wiring needs some trimming...those motor wires are crazy long.

Yeah, needs a trim only if you want to make working on the car very difficult when you need to take the motor out for whatever reason.

His weren't quite that long, in fact, they are as neat as any other in this shot.

Refreshing to see someone buck the all black trend in the A-main though

Anyone coming from 418 to 419 and can tell me if the body posts positions are the same? Curious if my 418 bodies will fit on the new car without new holes?
