The Tamiya kit one will develop play - it's inevitable and will happen sooner with more hits. I've had good experiences with the Kimbrough ones, but since I'm lucky to (mostly) have tracks with kerbs rather than hard boards, I usually run a fixed arm. Haven't damaged a servo yet.

Default servo saver

XRAY also has a very good servo saver if you want to / need to use one.

Today after nearly a year I was back on track

Very bad grip (yet not cleaned) and I with my XRay front on the track.
Changed the Toe In to 3 degrees, droop 5 front and 4 rear with XRay 2.5 spring.
Car drove acceptable and more than satisfied for the first ride.

The new XRay front is very stable and very direct.
More about a few more runs

Is there a place to read about how to do the conversion?

Default Chassis plate

I really don't like the tiny holes to stick your drive in to adjust your pinion. So how many of you guys have cut/milled that space out?

Hi guys,

If anyone has tested the aluminium chassis (worldspec version) pls share your experience vs carbon.

I am thinking to buy if it is really good... and further improvement.

Thanks

Hiro Seiko (they make complete screw sets Ti and Al for the 419x) and Square.

Hi Tamiya TRF guys

Yesterday had a race at our home track.
First must say I love my car sooo much

With my XRay Front I had a lot of steering and the car had all day long a stable rear. Changed during the day to Suspension Mount D in the rear.
Car was so fast and nice to drive but my driver skill was not good
Drive super fast and good 4-5 rounds than I had a mistake that cost me 2sec.
Use in the shocktower only 2 Screws and in Front the Arrowmax 44mm drive shaft with Blades.

End up at P4. Must work to drive better with this fantastic lovely TRF Racer.

Attached the setup and some pics of the car
