I went to the distributor to pick up the missing pieces today and while I was there I thought Ill pick up some spare parts as well as the xray Spur gear and pinions. Kinda ballered out on the parts, but, hey, why not.

I think Im pretty much set with these

I am new to the 1/12 world, and I got a used but mint X12 2014. I would like to know what are the parts that are Worth upgrading with the 2015 version.

I have a 76t spur and running 17.5t blinky. Tire diameter is about 42.5-43mm. What pinion should I use initially? As I read before, it seems that the biggest one I can fit is a 52t.

Thank you!

You can start with the 52, but you're going to need a smaller spur. 52/76 is under geared for most situations.

We are running 70-72 tooth spurs in stock. We are very happy with the Rw brand spurs!

As far as I know
KO pds-949 (discontinued), pds-951 (discontinued)
Futaba S9650,S9670,BLS-651

I have BLS-671svi on my X12 2-15, I had a custom chassis that have slider hole for the narrower servo. if you are using stock chassis, you can fasten the servo using far side from the spline and tape the servo to chassis. check up my earlier post for better understanding

Default servo for x12

hello i was seeing the problems with the servo, if the holes distance is 45 mm, could this servos work??

SANWA Airtronics SX-131Low Profile Servo 0.08sec 40 6V RC Car
Dimensions: 40.5x21x26.5mm
or
Hitec HS-77BB Low Profile Servo
Size in Millimeters: 43.94 x 22.86 x 24.89

i thinks the sanwa could have better fit than the hitec that could be too big??

thanks in advance
i bought an hd power servo that has a lenght of 36 mm this will work???

Thank you for the infos about the servos. I installed a Futaba S9650.

Another question: Where can I buy spare parts for X-Ray cars, besides A-Main where everything I need is backordered...?

Not sure what you mean by "base" but. The width of the 9650 body is about 36.8mm, the distance from mounting screw center to center is about 43mm. Seems to correlate with the measurements you have.
