Looks great Pete.

Here's another pic for you guys.

I'll have them up on-line after we get back from Vegas.

Have a great day.-Bruce

Ran it twice last night at our club track, first time ever running a WGT and only like the 3rd time trying boost classes.

Really impressive car, it cuts super hard and carries some really nice corner speed. Looking forward to Vegas next weekend with the car.

WGT is a nice replacement for people like me that yearn for the Foam TC racing of olde , just wish there was an open mod class!

The amount of cut/corner speed the car had through our sweeping carousel was impressive, we had a track with some well setup cars and this car without a full dialing in looked very good. Overall it was good through the infield, and very smooth.

Default Timezone GP 2011

Thought I would share a pic of my WGT3 that I'll be running at the Timezone GP this weekend.

The pic at the beginning of the thread is the setup we into Vegas with.

For this race you can see that I am trying weight much farther forward, as well is a different front end and some other parts.

enjoy

This question is for the guys that like to run the old school front end. Are any of you running additional cast or camber (i.e. shimming the bottom with card stock) or are you running it straight out of the package. I'm looking at getting rid of the piece of trash that CRC makes for the front of their car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ken

http://www.teamspeedmerchant.com/sho...l/smr1790.html

The old school was notorious for the mold being off over time. We've had 100's of arms machined correct to the kingpin. Comes with 2 camber 4 caster. With a 12th scale it was much better to take camber out if necessary since you wouldn't lose ride height you'd gain it.

Will this work for WGT though?

Hi,

Yup, the front end will work great.

You just need to order:

http://www.teamspeedmerchant.com/sho...l/smr1294.html
Spacers for the taller 1/10th scale tires and....

http://www.teamspeedmerchant.com/sho...l/smr2045.html
Longer 8-32 Front supension screws.

Hope that helps.

Take care.-Bruce

Here is my setup from the Timezone GP this last weekend. The car is great like this. Nevermind the battery, I was short on packs for this race.
