I once had a GM battery, but LiFe, was great, now local players appreciate these batteries. Maybe someone knows the difference between a battery Protek of intellect, whether they are identical batteries?

They appear to be identical apart from the sticker.

FANTOM Killer Volt series PRO RACING SERIES batteries are the best I have ever used. And buy the way, there motors are also the best. I would never buy anything else. They also have data backing every thing up. This is a ma & pa company and will build motors to your specs and there are great people to deal with. Also Check out there National Championships they won

Intellec Lipos are sold under the following brands.

ORCA, Aero Model & Promatch.

They are most likely also protek and SMC.

Since Orca, Protek, is the same as the intellect, what is the point to pay a lot more for the battery Orca or Protek. Frozenpod if you had these batteries and they are identical?

From my understanding, Orca is the same as Silverback, which aren't the same as Intellect

No problems with my Nosram (lrp) 1S 6900's and 2S 5200's done plenty of running with them and they are still in good shape, low IR, good voltage, top batteries SMC would be my other choice

Same here with my 7200, altough I would better go for the 6000 now. The 7200 are far too heavy and are unbalancing my car by 30g (Awesomatix with LRP and Sanwa electronics)

I 'm really surprised with those statements about LRP and other battery brands.
First off the LRP battery's are the most used battery's in Germany and when they would puff as many and fast some people say they would be already out of business.
I believe that all battery's will last long when handled with care.
What I'm talking about is charge with 1C, higher charge rates will not bump you from the C main in to the A.

All 3 of my LRP 7200 puffed after 5 weeks of 17.5 sedan. They were great up to that point but thinking about it the day they puffed was VERY hot in the sun, I had no EZ UP and the batteries were kind of cooking in the heat!! I think they puffed due to the direct sunlight that day. It's true they are very popular in Europe and if they were all that bad I don't think they'd be selling any.

I'm not sure if Orca and Protek are the same as stated above, but if so, it's really surprising because Protek batteries suck. I had 2 100c packs and they swelled up after 1 and 2 uses respectively. IR was not bad but not as good as Orion pack and EAM pack. Orion is way more expensive than Team EA pack but IR is lower.
I want to try Team Scream's batteries too. They are cheap and they say IR is super low. Anybody has any experience?
And side note: 5000mAh is good enough for up to 7minutes's stock racing. For mod, I would get at least 6000mAh. As mentioned above, once the battery's over 6A, it gets quite heavy. No reason to add weight when you only run stock racing under 7 minutes. My local track runs 10 minutes main for some weird reason so it's sort of harsh on my batteries. But so far even 5A EA battery for 17.5T has been holding up well.
