Can we run a 1/8th GT8 electric class? :P Ran ours on Bigdogs tiny indoor carpet track when the outdoor asphalt track rained out. Great fun and the GT8 cars handled the track surprisingly well on GT rubber tires.

(waiting to see how many ppl freak out)

(no, I'm not serious about running the class, especially at a big race. wouldn't want to damage the carpet.)

Friday morning I'll update the first post with all the new info (primary sponsor, P.P. info, race program, spec tires, additional sponsors, etc..).

We're asking for folks to sign up for all the classes they will be running along with transponder numbers and t-shirt size.

It's looking like we will be having "spec" tires for all the TC classes (mod, 13.5, and 17.5) and USGT. The tires will be available Friday (Oct. 31) when folks come in. Pricing will be better then normal and we'll have extras to sell at the end of the race.

We will also announce the "spec" tire traction on Friday

Do we have to buy "spec" tires form the track or can we bring our own?

You will need to purchase them from the track.
We'll have all the tires marked and tamper proof stickers on them.

I don't have exact numbers yet, but around 42.00 for 2 sets (TC) and 22 for a USGT set.

This is already shaping up to be more awesome than last years. A spec rubber tire thats super inexpensive? Sounds good enough to me to be able to fail in all 3 TC classes

Great (or stupid?) minds think alike. I'll try all three TC classes too!

So does that mean the 2 wire or 3 wire transponder is required?

The original AMB transponders, old MRT clones, and hybrids work. Not sure which of the new ones work with the RC3.

Anyone else know?
