Do you guys run ceramic bearings? If so which ones? Where to get full arc 2015 r10 set?
Also does the r10 have the same body mounting holes as trf 417?

There is nothing more gratifying seeing Kodi Johnson very successful on a dialed car. The Awesomatix turned a B main driver to take 2nd on one of the quals and qualified 3rd overall.... The car exposed Kodi's true level in driving. I'm can't wait to change my setup to what we put on his car.... I drove it and it was unreal. If I only knew it was going to be that good.

I use the stock bearings for a few weeks then I switch to the low friction ARC bearings. Great bearings for the $!

Anyone ever have a steering block strip the top screw that connects the chub to the steering block? Had that happen this weekend. I did take some hard hits though. USGT was squirrely and more like a shortcourse race. Also broke a rear shock shaft right at the lower rod end. Don't even remember getting hit there.

Regardless the car is dialed straight out of the box. I've made zero changes to setup thus far and it works really well on carpet.

I've never had one strip and I'm pretty violent with my car. But I did hear a ways back in the thread that some people would use a long ball stud up there. I think it just barely clears but I'd look at it closely to make sure.

yeah i think it does. i put the long ball stud on mine. no breaks or anything on my arc 2015. car feels good. just the body choice sucked. wont ever run a protoform camaro ever again. body tuck city.

190mm body, 6mm offset VTA tires, widening the rear end....you expected different? lol

Sorry bout all the questions. Noticed they have 3mm and 4mm option belts. performance difference besides width?

yep. did not have body tucks till that race. and i watched it only once (pretty disgusted with the performance) and i had 4 traction rolls and i think i counted 3 body tucks. I have a body that hopefully wont body tuck on me coming in the mail. one from cali and another from japan. very racey looking bodies. I hate the camaro now.


I am hoping the front shock tower is low enough for the 2 different bodies i bought to fit properly. very low slung bodies. not super cars. race car bodies. one is discontinued and i had to order from japan as its not available in the usa. both are tamiya bodies and look very good and look like they will produce enough downforce to be usable.
