Eagle CDC v6.0 charger help

Hi, does anyone of you guys use this charger?

http://rc-mushroom.com/product_info...products_id=732

If you do would u explain to me what the function "Adjustable Volt Threshold" is for? The charger itself is not as difficult to use as i i first thought it would be but this volt threshold thing has got me rather stumped. Also the discharge rate, i know what to charge them on but clueless on how much to discharge them properly, what amperage should i have the charger on discharging?

1. TX 8Cell 1650mah (nimh)
2. 7.2v 6Cell 1400mah (nicd) also got another pack thats 2800mah also nicd

Thanks.

The Adjustable Volt Threshold is the same as what most other chargers would call peak delta. That is, the amount of voltage drop that is sensed to stop the charge. Most NiMH's like about 5mV as a threshold.

For discharging standard cells (i.e not race cells) I would stick to 1C (i.e for the 1650 cells, 1.6A or so). Any more will overheat the cells.
