It sure seems like it lately. I'm hoping that one day I will find a class and stick with it. NAH!

This is the "no-skirt" class...

Kilts however, are acceptable and cool!

Why stick with a class when you can have dozens of cars and enjoy them all at anytime!

The fact that people think pro10 is too fast and too wild is what gets me excited and keeps me intrigued! I'm just glad wearing a kilt hasn't been worked into the class rules yet No disrespect to the kilt of course, it would just be hard to explain a kilt in the RC budget when talking to the wife .

I'm definitely going to be ordering the Roadkill 10 when the next batch comes up. Lets see that will make 1 vintage Pro10, 1 modded tbar Pro10, and 1 link Pro10. Yup I'm getting carried away and love it...

I have BSR double purple fronts, double pink rears, Xceed 40 fronts and 35 rears to try. Not sure what will stick on our carpet. All are pretty firm/hard compounds for high grip carpet. The BSR front Team Purple looks like it would be good too.

I was just saying on another thread that it would be all sorts of awesome if we could have a weekend event with all the 10th pan classes (USLMP, LM1, WGT and Pro10 235) racing in one track

I've used BSR gray fronts(35-40) with white(30-35) or pearl white(25-30) rears which worked well @ hobbytown oshkosh IC track.

Will be trying out BSR gray/silver(35-40/45-50) and purple(38-43) fronts with pink(30-35) and XX pink(35-40) rears.

I may also try the XX purple John suggested up front when I find out how they work for him... may also try silver up front... I'm trying to stay close to the same duro as what I've run before but with the "low wear/longer lasting characteristics" that is offered in the various pinks and purples.

Default BSR tires

Which of the above, or other, are applicable for asphalt/tarmac?

Which 48dp spur gears best to use for this car? Sold all of my Corally stuff including Kimbrough spur gears recently.
(I don't mean the toothcount but the partnumber, brand and type)

Which springs for centre shock? (partnumber, brand, type)

Which height adjustment shims for the front? (partnumber, brand, type). Again the ones from Corally are sold already and I wouldn't know if they would fit. Sorry but I never used shims before, didn't need to with Corally 10SL and Serpent S110.

Does anyone use tefloncoated pivotballs on the car?

Polishing just the kingpins and the regular pivotballs?

Is this body any good on asphalt/tarmac?

Default offset?

Oh wow, mind numbing options!

http://johnsbsrracing.com/foam-tires/10th-scale-foams

According to Bruce's redesign of the rear pod (narrowing by 6mm), there is also an offset difference between say Jaco and BSR?

Any comments n that?

The companies I've found that still make tires are BSR and Exceed. I can't find Jaco foams as a company, but I do see them for sale (mostly out of stock for the carpet compounds). TM Racing also looks like they have a full line available listed under carpet oval: front or rear. RC4Less carries their line of tires, but not sure of the quality.

I have never purchased Jacos deliberately, but the green sticker foams that came with my L2 kit appear to be Jacos... If that is true, the Jacos are narrower then the BSRs. I'll compare measurements of offset and width tonight when I get the chance.

The euro folk run BSRs mostly with the other dominant company being Exceed and some RC4less
