...also how are you lowering the rear pod to get a 5mm ride height with the -3.75 axle pills? I can only get 6mm ride height with 58mm tires.

There are 4 of us with RK 10s here. We all have different layouts. Mine is set up for a square pack forward with electronics behind. Last week I ran a shorty transverse just in front of the electronics without changing anything else and no massive or even noticeable affect on steering.

Don't laugh, we run them high. On a new set of tires I'm at 7mm rear, 6mm front. As the CG is all under the axles and the car is planted, there are no negative effects. We did this as we are in a club and cheapskates by nature. You could ask Bruce for some of the Four-R rear shims. And that would drop it right to 5mm.

Had my first run with this badboy this past weekend. Most fun Ive had in a long time out on the track. I had some minor issues and those were my fault. I had a cheapo motor fan mount that kept sliding around and kind of prevented the pod from having smooth movement. Got a R1 fan mount coming. I had a shorty battery mounted forward and esc/rx in back close to pod. It was ok for the most part but was lacking punch throughout the run with a shorty. Going to try a stick pack in the middle next time then maybe some saddles later. Cheap Rc4Less tires purple fronts and pink rears gave plenty of traction. Will post up pics soon.

Thanks, still trying to get mine race ready. I've been trying to get over there but things have been changing on me on a daily basis.

Default Mounting the body

So I've noticed the Saxo body sits about 7mm high then the chassi with new full size tires. I have to use the provided spacers on the posts to keep the front of the body off the tires. Just curious if it's a problem with the chassi being below the body line. But the body is level with the front bumper.

What's the size mm of your tires in front? What brand? I'm using rc4less and I trued front down to match rear 58mm. The front tires were way too tall for that body. Hope that helps.
