Time to put Thunder and Lightning back on the track.

Thunder: 13.5 boosted 2S.
Lightning: 4.5 mod 1s.

Both need some track time love. Also need thinking of making a wet weather car out chassis #3. Tired of looking at it stripped to spares in my parts bin.

I had the kit springs (side 18) and 30k in the tubes. think I'm going up to 50k and ordering the 22 24 tweek springs, felt a little soft but the front I'm going to leave for now
Good info, sounds like fun

Also, look into 700cst shock oil, I noticed this settled my RK down nicely
Heavier side springs have a notable impact on turn in, and center out, heavier is always less side grip, from my testing.

I'm using SpeedMerchant Blue spooge (Thick) with .024' side springs, but for asphalt I think .020 with green, green/blue would work too

You don't have to use the same lube in both side dampers

She's pretty much called "RoadHog" at our carpet track

Went back and looked to see what spur gear sizes actually fit on the RoadKill

96-100t 64p are the largest size that will work for proper rollout, with 51-56mm tires running 10.5 2s approx 35mm rollout

This should also match up with 1s mod winds, should anyone choose that route

Put mine down on the rug last night for the first time this year. What a thrill. 13.5 2S boosted and it just plain works. Time to paint a new body and have some summer fun with the go fast car!

Hey Fellas,

Looked a few posts back and didn't immediately see the answer...

If Scotty is going to run a 235 class, anyone hear what the motor/power arrangement would be?

I recall 1S/10.5?

It would be an honor to be on the same track as RedBullFiXX.

Nah, been there, it's mostly an exercise in dodging.
