Nice John! Bumper looks good, is that the Parma universal front bumper cut to fit? What brand/rating is that brick pack? 17.5 just for testing? Lots of questions I know...

It's half a Parma universal sectioned at an angle the long way, so I get 2 from each block. It's notched to fit the body. Brick pack is the new Hobbyking 6400 90C. I wanted the capacity, just in case. The 10.5 went up in smoke last night when testing the controller after a lot of cogging Tuesday. I might have to switch systems as I think my ESC is bad too. I put in the 17.5 to test and it's cogging. RMA is ready.

No , it's to a KO. I do have a working Airtronics Cailber 3PS 27MHz and Novak receiver in the basement.

It looked like you had fitted it to the body contour, should help protect the body nicely! I did see your post about the 10.5 just wasn't sure if it was pronounced dead yet lol. With ratings like that the Hobbyking battery should feed a 10.5 nicely!

I just called a little audible. In my pile of spares, I had a brand new Tekin RS Gen 2 and ThunderPower 13.5. Now installed. 20* on the motor, timing profile 3 on the speedo to test. Yep, I have rip. This car will not need a 10.5 indoor.

Default servo

heads up...

I'm not sure you can run a standard sized servo on the chassis - I couldn't see a way to get things aligned.

No biggy, most have mini servos from old 1/12 pancars laying around.

That'll do no doubt.

If we ever get outdoors I'd like to run a nitro lola body and a 3-5T lol... ya I'm aware I have a problem.

Is it an issue of being too wide for the mount holes to line up, or an issue of the servo gear not being @ center line when mounted? I'm always curious...

Kind of both really.

Bit narrow to fit standard servo in one location, but if you did get it to fit, it would be 1/2" off center.

I just gave it a go, clearly it was drilled for a 1/12 pancar mini servo that you could flip for weight bias.

Eventually looking at this...

A $50 Futaba 9650 servo should be plenty for the job
Add a Kimbrough Med servo saver and you're good to go
