I was wondering what is the best car for racing on outdoor asphalt without additive? Was looking at getting a RC12r5.2 or a X12 2015. Are there better options?

Without additive I think you may struggle.
It's more to do with your choice of foam tyres when outdoors.

I would recommend something like purple fronts and pink rears. Your going to want something really soft and grippy in the rear and something hard to take away steering in the front. Can you use sun tan lotion or absolutely nothing for traction compounds ?

You probably don't want to run pinks. The new Red or Orange are much better for asphalt. Team Purple or DBL Pink front would be better for the front. Your going to have to use some kind of additive.
