It's not TAMIYA but it's a NSX body set.

Rodzilla said there are millions of them in Japan. Bensi told me that at the Tamiya fair last year they were 700 yen, but he couldn't figure out how to get them home. I told him it was easy, take them out of the bag, stack them 20 high, leave the body you took (give it to a kid or something) and pack accordingly to get home.

If Rod is right, I have no idea where they are hiding them. If you had one, what's the going rate?

TAMIYA America told me they were not going to be produced anymore. Be ready to search long and hard and then be ready to pay too much... Amazon had them (TAMIYA brand) for $75 ea not long ago. Needless to say I DIDNT buy.

Tamiya are known for producing limited runs of bodies and special parts for sale at their shows, which aren't available elsewhere. They also limit how many you can buy at the shows, so ebay sellers can't get hold of lots of them to resell.

The only place you will find them for sale in any quantity is if there were some left over and they will appear at the next Tamiya fair.

Even the HPI NSX is discontinued. Matrixline offers an NSX, and I know their bodies are pretty good.

Not sure if you'd be interested but I have the Raybrig NSX 2002 body set and I'm sure it's NOT the lightweight version. Plus a stash of older NSX-GT bodies.
