R/C car won't start

Hi, I have a TA-05 that won't start anymore. It worked one week ago but when I switch it on today, nothing happens, except the wire connectors for the Lipo battery to the R/C car heated up when I connected it. Is there any fix for this? Thanks!

Whew, troubleshooting electronics is difficult over the web. Make sure your polarities are all correct, then start switching out components until you find the difference maker. Try your esc first.

Always difficult to troubleshoot. Just be sure your lipo's charged up and ESC is calibrated correctly.

Potential short circuit . " Battery getting hot" ??

If the wires get hot, I would hazard a guess you need to put back in the ESC that black smoke that got out.
