Hrm. If you wanted more ARS adjustment, could you run a screw into a ball like on the bottom of the shock, with a small number of spacers? Or are those balls a different size? I guess you could even use a longer turnbuckle with a shock end eyelet.

I've found the easiest way to adjust on the inner stand is to remove the bottom screw from the chassis then add or remove shims with the end of the arm in the open. Easier than trying to negociate the diff, belt and top deck.

All of my batteries weight over 300g and on all of my cars I still have to add a ton of weight to make minimum. My 17.5 car(T4'14), needs the most. It has over 100g added to make 1380g and every screw in the thing is steel. You must have some heavy electronics or something.

For 17.5 racing you want the biggest mAh (to a certain extent) you can get with the largest C rating. The reasoning for this is the fall off of lap times in the 6 min time. Larger mAh will have a longer discharge curve than a smaller pack. Your lap times will not fall off as much at the end of the race.

Look for packs in the 7000 mAh 100c Rating.

Protek has some.
Revtech has them.

Those are just two that I have used. I am sure there are other companies that have them you will just have to look around and figure how much you are willing to spend.

It will then come down to how much you want to spend.

The EAM packs ,orca ,and pro match 7600/90c packs work great. Now I'm not flawless driver and neither is my son (tho he is a wheel) I run a 7600 pack and he runs 6300 (I think) both pro match packs wile the packs are 50g different lap times are Farley consistant to the end when compared to the 1min mark times both identical cars tho usually he is a few seconds ahead (driver differences) and both cars are at min weight with alum chassis tho I did have to add lw screws to mine

+1 something isn't right if you are adding 100 gr. to make minimum weight. You are weighing with the body on?

sorex/schumacher tires, lw mazdaspeed6, Team Scream 17.5, Tekin RS Pro, Xpert 3401 (low profile, all aluminum case) Airtronics rx-471

LOL. I wish I was doing something wrong, but I can assure you, I do indeed need 100g extra on that car for it to just make minimum weight.

25g alone in those tires compared to what most of us yanks run. Tekin is pretty light too.

Back on topic. There are sooo many different packs. Get one with a high C with about the weight prescribed earlier (although some of mine are around 310g) . Check what the locals run or see what your local hobby store carries. You can see from my sig what I run. Others will have a different opinion.
