thats what i thought,i run 1mm out on the rf and 0 on the rr to get 2.5 i cant see another .5mm making 2.5 disappear, what you been smoking ea?
although i havnt tried it id guess that youd need 1mm out and 1mm in to get 0 toe

Actually its .70mm per degree. So yea you would need more than the 1 and .5 insert and couldnt really get zero inboard. Alexander said everyone starts with the 1mm and .5mm insert and then adjust the ARS to get 3 total. So its more like splitting it between inboard and outboard.

My fastest qualifier was with it installed. This race was the first time anyone has ran it on carpet other than Martin and a couple of other people. May take some testing to figure it out completely though.

do you recall what all your settings were? inner shims, outer shims, total initial toe in at ride height, inboard toe, outboard toe?

Awesome thanks. I figured it would take a few weeks for people to get the hang of it. I get my car tonight. I think I'll just go with the ARS and play with it bit.

I'll look tonight. I think I started with the Kit setting and then added 1.5mm to the other end of the link ( I think kit is 1mm outside and nothing inside and I added 1.5mm inside).

Has anyone given any thought as to how the type of rear spring (soft/stiff) you use may alter (effect toe gain or loss) with ARS ?

I believe the kit setting is additional 1mm on the inside, nothing on the outside.

I seem to recall I set mine with 2mm extra on the inside and nothing on the outside and that reached the point of adding toe out during suspension compression.

Yes I did. It helped keep the car from traction rolling on the Gravity tires and mega grip they offer.

The softer spring will let the rear roll more causing a great affect of the ARS (either more toe in or toe out depending on setting).

You are probably right. Which ever way it was I added 1.5mm to the other end of the link. I didnt have time to look last night.

Time for a shameless plug right here:

These are new on the site, made out of 3mm Carbon Fiber, they are light weight and hold the battery in place really nicely. They allow you to bias your battery forward or back a total of 3mm. Since they are keyed, they will not move at all.

I really like it on my '14 with the battery forward on our carpet track. It gives the car a little more initial low speed steering and better high speed stability in the sweepers.

This thread needs more people discussing their ARS. Does your ARS develop slop over time?

EA, did you check out your ARS last night? Inquiring minds would like the measurements of your ARS.
Where's Alex Hagberg? We need him to tell us about his ARS.

Of course I'm joking around, but in all seriousness, I would love to hear what settings people have tried on various surfaces and the results.
