How far forward or back you mount the body can affect handling also. Typical is 5mm off the bumper foam.

Thanks guys... Yea, I tried to set it directly over the front wheels. That is how I had it lined up but then I popped the holes in and of-course it shifted . Im sure it will be fine. This is the first on road car I will have driven so I won't even notice if the handling is off. I would think having the body forward would make it have more aggressive steering? Is that right?

Yeah, could make the car feel twitchy in high speed areas, and lack a little rear grip in high speed corners.

Yes, it will give more steering like that. I wouldn't worry about it, you might find that you want the extra steering. Most of us run the body a couple mm forward on purpose for that exact reason.

How much of this would work on a 14?

I'm not sure I'd bother. The '16 has some small changes over the '15 but I'd bet that overall most people can't tell the difference between them. And, for that price you can sell your '15 and get a new '16 for the difference.

The chassis and motor mount part won't work on the 14. Xray had a big jump from the 14 to the 15. Trying to upgrade from the 14 to 16 would require more parts and by the time you get those you should have just purchased a 16. Hope that helps.

The only additional thing you would need for the 14 would be the servo mount. But as others have said, its more cost effective to just sell and buy a whole new car. The sway bars/bulkheads would be different, but everything else would still bolt on to the 16 chassis plate.

To me, the sway bar setup alone is worth an upgrade to a 15/16, looooove that design.

Here is a couple pics. After I moved the body on the posts it doesn't look as shifted now. I still have to drop the ride height down some so idk if it will effect it. But where it sits now it seems pretty centered I think

I posted this in the main on road forum but I figured I could get a good answer here too. I am wondering if the hudy setup system for onroad touring car will also work for my xray xb4 10th scale buggy? Or if the 10th off-road would work on my t4. I just don't want to buy 2 stations. Also wondering if anyone has used any other station that is good. I was looking at the gforce one it comes with a case for like 115 or the arrow max one around the same price without a case. Then there is integy but not sure I like the gage system for the toe in/out. It isn't a acrylic like all the others it is aluminum and mounts completely different. Any advice?
