3.2 fdr and 30 timing is novak ballistic 12.5 rotor territory.... Torque based motor only, with not much timing....

I don't run 17.5t outdoors.... Carpet only, small track....

A bunch of people are running this motor now so why the silence? Just ordered the Fantom Works 13.5 motor with the 12.5mm pro rotor and could use a good starting point for a medium size paved track with medium grip. Running 13.5t super stock blinky with a HW3.1 speedo. Good starting point for timing and FDR would be super appreciated.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I am in need of a new 17.5 motor for tc onroad. I see that there are different versions of the D4 (e.g., roar spec, maxilla, etc.). Which would be the best version to go with? I plan on putting it in an Xray t4 '15. It will be ran on a large outdoor asphalt track.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Big Blue means that the stator is manufactured with thicker wire (lower resistance) and so will be more powerful. These motors aren't approved for ROAR racing.
Maxzilla means that it comes with a 12.5mm Turquoise rotor (High Torque Rotor). If it doesn't say maxzilla then it will just come with the regular rotor.
Generally for asphalt racing you want the Maxzilla version. As for big blue/roar spec, it depends on what rules your local club races with

Does roar accept Certified spec ones?
