Yeah Eric hit it out of the park....it shouldnt be to hard to get done on the RD side of things.

So what is this all about?
This is a way for everyone no matter where you are racing to all be racing for points towards an overall national championship....it doesnt matter if its a weekly club race, local or regional series race or a national event they all count...if you are a member and following USVTA rules.

Well as most of you know, I have never really liked drinking the USVTA cool-aid, but this points series looks really great, and I am currently trying to drum up support at my local track that currently runs ROAR rules.

Between the new ESC rule change and this points series, I am happy to support the USVTA program. Now if we could just talk about these heavy cars... J/K J/K Keep up the good work. These changes will only make the program stronger and more appealing while keeping it unique and spec friendly.

Questions??

As an R.D if we have a full main of USVTA series drivers can we just send it in from the track and not have to flash 10/12 memory sticks for each driver

OUR track supports USVTA and we always have a full main of racers
would just make it easy on us to send one time

???????

I would say yes Pete. Just click Final results at the end of day and then save/export as PDF and mail it off

They just need to be sent in once per track for that race day. So if you have 10 guys that are all "members" then you dont need to send it in 10 times just 1 time will work.

Kevin K - question for you; I'm going to be entering some races this year that will be held by Mike Boylan, the Southern Oval Nationals, and his annual Turkey Shoot Race in which he runs a USVTA oval class for these races that utilize the USVTA rule set. All cars are fully compliant. Would these races be eligible towards the overall national points? Thanks in advance.

I think you should have to add up how many times you turn left. then multiply that buy how many right turns you would have made running a road course . then subtract that from your finish and then add your USVTA # and then drop the last 2 numbers and then you should have enough points left to count roflmao

As we try to get this thing off the ground, I think we're just going to stick to road course races to start.

The NMPRA pylon racers get to do cool starts and wear helmets when they race.

Can we do cool starts and wear helmets too?
