ive read alot about D3's steering, belt slop etc. i want to put on minimal upgrades on the d3, so what do you guys think are the essential upgrades for the car. thanks

I just made a belt tension bearing ( made from an old Rs4 part ) attached to the front bulkhead under the belt , just in front of the top strap .
I also reduced the overdrive by replacing from the stock 22 tooth pulley with a 17 pulley .you will need to make the rear Tension post taller . I used some 1/8 " Spacer. the car works good that way ( not Great) I've got a 4200Kv motor on it and it has held together good . The car only really works for me on a very short track .

I've been talking to other drifters and the also tell me I need . Front Wide Angle Universals and a One Way in the front end . I don't to put to much money into it too.
