That listed phone number listed is answered as being "Catering & Convention Services" at the hotel which is probably only open during normal business hours (PST daytime). So, all you will get is an answering machine after-hours.

At the Riviera Hotel website, the direct phone number for Room Reservations is listed as 855-468-6748. Then select Option 4 when prompted on the phone for Group Reservations.

That's what I did tonight; HOWEVER, my room rates were quoted as being $60 (Mon-Thur) and $92 (Friday only). This is what was listed under the "International Carpet Championship" event booking information per the Riviera hotel reservation desk.

I called during normal business hours several times. They don't answer. Just wanted to make sure it was ok to use the other number before I called it.

Already booked it online! Now what?

On edit, I booked a room in the Monaco tower and paid more than Scotty's negotiated rate - because the whole tower is non smoking, lest anyone think I'm a cheapskate. I mean, I am, but that isn't what my motivation was. It's medium to super busy at work doing farming stuff right now. I got a smoking room last time and didn't want to redo that one again.

Don't forget to factor in the Resort fee of $16.80 (including tax) per night you will have to pay if you book without using the IIC group code. This isn't included in any of the final amounts at their or any other website.

Well got my room booked though I do need to call back and speak with the coordinator because the rates the computer had for the IIC was a little off. Instead of $59 and $80 it was $60 and $92 per night.

Hey Everyone, thanks for helping each other out with room reservations and such.

To answer some other questions.
1. Yes a traction compound has been decided upon.
2. Yes the handout motor has been decided upon.

All of these announcements and more coming up...

When I can finish on the same lap as you and Rodzilla, then I would consider 1/12th.

Tamiya F1 tires - plan to bring tire glue. The TCS tires and wheels come separate. Also bring a drill or body reamer as the Pit Shimizu tires were designed to work on the Tamiya "Foam tire" wheel so you need to add an air hole to wheel.

Dave and Rod are a couple now?

Or is this one of those "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" deals?
