The new style flashes when powered up. Does it flash or just come on solid?

How would hard wiring to the battery make a difference? Just curious. Or has MRT come out with a new, new style?

I got mine retrofitted by MRT before I heard this so I can't confirm this. But there seems to be an issue that the reciever power has some signal noise that causes the older MRT transponders not work on current lap counting software. By hardwiring the MRT to the battery you get a steady current and the old transponders not get recognized by the software. I'm sure there is more to it on other threads here on RCTECH.

Thanks, I had not searched or considered signal noise. Quite a few guys run them here at the GATE and I haven't noticed or looked for that. I have 6-8 MRTs both old and new and never had a problem. BUT our track still uses RC3(?) the older system anyway which may not be as easily affected.

Truly, you could be sitting at the worst location in the IIC pits and will still be thrilled by your surrounding environment. Have made many friends there without sitting in the team spots...But, sitting with the team is pretty kewl too...LOL

The IIC is really a positive experience with all kinds of potential for you to learn new techniques that you can carry back home to impress your homies.

Nothing like it!

Default ORCA VX-1 ESCs

Kraig,

For the ORCA VX-1 1S ESCs listed the three part numbers are correct; but, the colors should be specified as being Titanium, Orange and Blue. List only indicates "Titanium Color" in the description at this time; so, just need to add "Orange" and "Blue" to include the part numbers shown.

I am good with how it is posted; but, others may be wondering. No big-ee!

Thanks.

Bill

With the MRT you posted a picture of, I cannot guarantee that it will work with our system or not even if you hard wire it. To error on the side of caution, I would look at your opportunities to replace it or to borrow one from a friend that will work.

I used an upgraded MRT last year and it worked perfectly. If you want to upgrade yours they will do it at a reduced price. http://www.team-mrt.com/ptx_form.pdf

I have everyone of them! And two sets of shirts. Planning something very special for IIC! The debut will be at the dinner driver meeting Monday night!
