I have mine on an X12 as well and I agree, a bigger tire would fill in much better. I think that the next one I paint, I will use a razor compass to cut out the proper tire size and not use the lines molded into the body. Ill take a better shot of the side to show the wheel gap.
I run thw shell twice and my impression is that it cannot handle mod class but very stable and easy to drive with 10t+ motor speed

What would be the ideal tires' diameter for this body ?

I run on asphalt therefore big tire is a plus fot me. Speedmind has 52mm of the rear tire that Icut to 48 which will look perfect with original wheel opening.

Just finished the painting
It's 1 of the thickest body I've ever cut....
I believe this would have great durability
