ESC for 21.5T motor

We have a spec class out our local track, Hobbywing or Speed Passion 21.5T motor is allowed and any esc in blinky mode. At the moment I'm using the HW Justock Club Spec esc, will the new HW Xerun V3.1 in blinky mode make a difference in performance?

At the moment some guys have a lot more power down the straight, not sure which esc they using but it is not the HW Justock one. Will a bigger capacitor on the ESC make a difference? (Tyres is spec as well as rollout)

Normally ESC wil not make that mutch off a difference.
If you use a hobbywing 21.5T you can't adjust timing.
If u use a speedpassion motor, you can add timing, use other sensor for more timing and other rotor. That makes more difference than the esc.

Overhere in Belgium for the nats, everybody has to use the same motor, with fixed timing, and stock rotor. Now there almost no differnce in speed.

There would only be a small difference in the ESC. The v3/3.1 series have lower internal resistance numbers which would allow for an almost unnoticeable increase in punch.
Use the motor with the adjustable timing, it gives you tune ability that a fixed timing motor doesn't have.
