Default OFNA 1/8 DM1-E build for speed runs and speed bashing sessions?

Now i am gathering info to make a speed demon in 1/8 on road scale.

Will the OFNA DM-1 be durable or is a weak car?

I just want this to work:
-8s only
-Leopard 4092 motor with 30's pinion's

Not to build a speed runs once... but a speed basher till batery drys!
I know it can be done

What size of batery should i be looking...

Is there a trhead for the Ofna DM1 e?

The DM1 is a pretty durable chassis and has proven itself on race tracks for years, but if you're looking for another better option for top-speeds, look at the GTP2E chassis instead.

It is also durable, weighs less, has an easier 8S battery layout and a taller final drive ratio. The fastest GT cars all over youtube are all GTP2E cars, the fastest one I've seen so far goes 146 mph. (check out "johnracerx" yourself on youtube)

Hope it helps!
