cycling while deadshorting?
How do ya'll cycle deadshorted 3300's? Is it just tray down to 5.4v after the race, then equalize, then deadshort, then just unsolder right before the next race weekend.

My way is:
1) discharge to 5.4 volts
2) tray down to 0
3) short for a minimum 3 days
4) unshort and tray again for 5 minutes before charging.
I also use the packs twice as the 2nd cycle is the bomb.

This is a quote for Danny/SMC re IB3800:
"As long as the packs cool down for a couple of hours they can be used again in the sameday. When using them more than once per day place them in a discharge tray in between runs. Only deadshort when storing the packs after your race day"
