The Eryx 3.0 setup sheet is listed under 'Latest Setups' in the left-hand column on Serpent's home page, http://www.serpent.com/

After finding out a little more on this car, this car does deserve its own thread. Yes, it's the "same platform", but there are a lot of changes. Its like saying information on a 2014 camaro and 1990 should be in the same thread. This aluminum chassis is going to change a lot. They have also made changes that are going to effect the COG. Sorry if you disagree about the new thread. But as somebody who comes to this site often for information, I rather be able to look under a thread specific to my car. Not scroll through people asking FWD, and older model questions. Serpent is finally gaining some ground and growing in popularity here in my area, lets make it easier for others as well to get the information they need with out complaining about a new thread.

Talking to my local dealer today and all the new hardware is backwards compatible with the 2.0 chassis. He has not seen the 2.0 kit no. become discontinued yet either. He's trying to tempt me with a hot deal on a kit. Price is lower than I expected!

Just read the Eryx 3.0 page. Few things I liked:
- 2 and 6 degree caster blocks also included with kit
- Top deck stiffener screw now moved forward located
closer to middle of top deck.

More included value and tuning options !

Anyone think that Serpent will price the Eryx 3.0 closer to the retail price of the Durango TC? I'd pick one up if that was the case!

One store near Sydney, Australia, Walter R/C Hobby City is taking pre-orders for the Eryx 3.0. priced at 479.56 AUD (approx. $446.00 USD)

The best price for a Team Durango DETC410 is $399.99, so it looks like you save $50.00 if you go with the Durango.

Part number has not changed so I doubt the screw is in a different spot than before.

I reckon that's a typo as they have never had plastic versions of the 2 and 6 degree hubs and they are not listed as a spare anywhere. I hope it's true as I've always wanted to test the 6 degree hubs and never wanted to fork out for the Alu version.

Please, blasphemy is not tolerated here You start the thread then 20 posts in your bagging the car for being too dear and it's not even released yet! WTF! Would be appreciated if you speak only ERXY related chat please.

Seeing as you started the thread Be a good boy and update your 1st post with all the updated info on this car please! Your a bit behind mate.

FWIW All the hudy steel in the ERXY is worth the difference in price! All the Durango has is cheap alu drive shafts and a reject looking xray anodising! Plus your comparing carbon vs alu chassis which is like comparing apples vs pears.
