I tend to run a touch more droop front than rear. 5.8/6 fr ride height with 3/2.5 fr droop. What kind of droop settings are working for you?

Thanks in advance for any replies. Regards Benzaah.
I run 1.5F 2.0R droops. Others are very similar to yours or Orca's. Our track is low to medium traction with large sweeper and long straight away. Even with low traction, I find that less droops are better, especially at twisty sections of track (esses). There the car has to be fast (almost full throttle at 17.5T) to be competitive at our track and it's been better w/ less droops.

Nick, will you be running on asphalt or carpet? Also are you using the RRS?

I only run on carpet up here in the great white north. our local track is a small/tight layout. 25x50. I will be buying the RRS, Johnny ran a version of it a month or so ago, seemed to work really good.

I personally have never ran one. As long as your belt is adjusted correctly. should not be an issue.

On the top deck. A bit forward from mid point. You will see a hole on the deck. At the beginning, you might not need the tensioner but as the belt loosens up, you might need it (In response to Phoenix82's comment) if you run faster classes. W/ 17.5T class, I don't run tensioner. But since you have it, you might as well use it

Here's a setup I ended up with at the Southern Nats in Nashville last weekend. Qualified 4th, finished 3rd in the 17.5 A-main.

Gravity tires made a ton of grip, to the point that they would feel too gummy as the run went on. The car never wanted to traction roll, however. I ran 0 front camber so that I could drive the car as hard as needed given the grip level. On anything less than high bite or on other tires I'd start at least 1* camber.

The guys that have driven the car initially didn't like how much steering it had, but once you learn to be smooth with the steering input this setup can be really fast. I set full steering lock (knuckle to c-hub) at 100% dual-rate on the radio, and usually ran around 80%. I didn't get to test with an LTCR yet, but I always favor the Mazdaspeed 6.

A tight front gear diff worked well, too. Other things worth trying if you want the car to be a little more comfortable would be a 1.4 front swaybar, LTCR body, and fully long wheelbase.

The car only lacked a tad bit high-speed rotation, but was still comfortable to drive. An LTCR may fix that. It definitely made up for it in the infield.
