Frequency for comm cut on stock motors?
How often is it needed/best to cut the comms on a stock motor like Peak Spitfire / Orion Chrome RS Stock?
And do you have any other recommendations on this motor?

when do you know that the comm is too small to be cut and has to be thrown already?

Well at some point it will delaminate(copper will come off) and become completely useless.
Most people will stop using it well before then though. They often use digital calipers to measure the size of the come. Once it gets too small they stop using it.
There a thread on here called Everything about lathes and comm cutting. People on there haved talked about what size is no longer usable. Check it out.

Auch!!
It's more than 30 packs since my last cut!!! Problem is, that I don't have easy access to a lathe, but it sounds like it have to be done more often.
What is the reason for cutting so often (less than 10 packs pr. cut)? Is it to extend life or to achieve better performance?
