Could anybody which tried EXO6 conversion kit tell me, if the speed had improved or not?

In fact i am really interested to use it to run 17.5 and 21.5 blinky classes.

Best regards

I can tell you this ..Ex06 is quicker and fast in the straight away speed than EVO6....set up ?? Too early ..most of us need more time to fine tune in the car set up..

Default 2015 ROAR NATIONALS

Hi All!

Very good results coming out of last weekends ROAR Nationals!

With very little time from its release there were only 2 EXO-SIX's entered but both cars sat on podium in 17.5 Sedan and GT10!

Big congrats to Rod Canare for winning the GT10 title with the EXO-SIX! Lee Passehl drove an EXO-FIVE for 2nd place and TQ of GT10! These 2 had incredible battles all weekend and it went to the 3rd and final main to decide the championship.

In 17.5 class it was another super tight battle for podium as Lee Passehl drove the lone EXO-SIX to an incredible 2nd place overall against some of the best stock drivers in the country. Lee's car was just a rocket ship all weekend!

Great results from these drivers with a small testing window which shows that the Tamiya/Exotek combination will be very potent as the conversion gets more track time!

We will update the website with notes and set ups later this week after we get caught up from the very hectic race week

Currently using a 419 for 17.5 TC and GT.
Has anyone compared the Exo6 to a 419?
Totally different chassis but wanting to get feedback if it will be better in 17.5 TC and GT.

I also ran the Tamiya evo 6 and max did as well . We made the main but we were in back of pack . The Exotech conversion was very impressive this weekend . I am changing my evo 6 today to the exotech conversion . Great job at Nats mike !

Thanks Mike! You were making that EVo6 look good! If we had more time I'm sure the EXO-SIX could have been ready for you too, sorry.

In the GT10 A main there were;

1- EXO-SIX
1- EXO-FIVE
1- EXOTEK PRO4
2- EVO6
5- Belt cars?

So should someone start a new Exo-Six thread or just keep piggy backing on this one?

It should stay in this thread. As it's better to keep all Evo 6 info together.

I'm tempted to get a conversion but not UK or EU stockists

Is there a handling difference between using Tamiya suspension blocks and Exotek suspension blocks?Exotek blocks a thicker and much more beefy and does this do anything to stiffen the chassis?

Here's a photo of the Exo 6 from last week's ROAR Nationals. With any luck, there'll be under hood photos somewhere-sometime
