Maybe I should try thinning diff oil or take some oil out some ,so it wont be too thick
I was using 2k in my diff what are you running? -this week I'm changing bodies to the new z28 protoform last weekend I ran the older PF Camaro body with a Tamiya low down force wing. That might be why the car was a little edgy?

I just purchase 2 conversion kits and am about to get 2 EVO 6's to go with them. What are the most common broken parts and what should I upgrade right out of the box?

The car is pretty bullet proof. I would a spare ring a pinion front and back a when building the diffs take your time shimming the diffs to get the lash correct. Then c-hubs f/R spindle carriers and a-arms that's all I can think. Of. I thought of one more thing a front spool instead of the front diff but that is personal preferences.

What size shims should I order so I can have them on hand when I do my initial build? I have had shaft drives in the past and had no issues with shimming. Just have to do it right. Does the kit come with both a front diff and a spool? I thought the black edition only came with a spool. I run a diff in my USGT car now, and a spool in my 17.5.

What brand spur gears will fit the Exo 6 conversion, and will it handle a 88/56 ratio?

Ok thanks for all the info so far. I have looked on petite RC but can't find a 17.5 carpet set-up. Can someone post one or a link to one?

Thanks.

Could some one just post a setup all of these setups are from when the EVO6 was released. Setups had to improve or change since 2 years ago.

Just read back a few pages and saw where Mike from Exotek is going to post up some set-ups after the Nats this weekend.

Looking forward to getting the kits in and getting them on the track in the next month or two.

Here's the setup from this past weekend. The Exo6 chassis is a little stiffer than the stock chassis and is a little more free...otherwise, setups for both Evo6 and Exo6 are identical.
