Hmm. That is what I expected. That type of coupling is going to be very sensitive to chassis tweak.

Default Evo 6

Looking at the manual the internal ratio is 2.50 do no know if that will be good for blinky

TC3's and TC4's are 2.5 internal and they use them in VTA. Are they having trouble in that class? I dunno.

The sample at the track was built straight out of the box without any driveline massaging. It was surprisingly free. We loosened the top deck screws and introduced a big tweak by twisting the chassis and retightening the screws. The drivetrain still felt free.

Maybe it was.

But imagine now that coupling being slightly off centre and going at 10000RPM or more.

Remember this set-up is nothing new, it was on the Evo V MS as well. The only issue then was that the parts were aluminum and would wear. Even in Exotek trim, which was one of the flexiest fliers I have ever seen, it stayed free.

Hard to give input when no one has driven or raced the car yet. Not to mention only Kentech has built the car.

Mr. Exotek is very fast with his Pro4 and Evo 5(apprx 2.5 IGR) with 17.5/13.5

The Theory is;
Shaft drive is better for spec classes as it provides direct torque and efficiency gains, and
Belt drive is better for modified classes as it has some elasticity from the belts to absorb the HP shock from mod motors.

Whether you buy in to this theory is up to you to decide...
(But I've seen both driivetrains just as quick as each other)

would pre-order them if you don't want it to end up like the m05 v2 that turned to unicorns.
