On the big open track the EXO SIX drive shaft really shown through as it out powered the belted cars quite visibly. The only car that could match the top speeds were a carbon fiber TC4 car but thats where the Tamiyas infield handling took over. Really loving this car even if I say so myself lol

Note, alloy chassis was used simply because of the 1450gr weight rule. I still had to add many blocks of lead.

I was running a Crc pinion and it looks like Mike was as well. They're anodized gold, not a place e where you'd want brass.

Irs spool on that tc3, with lots of other drivetrain lightening mods....Sure helped it keep up with the exo6 on the straight...

Yes It's an IRS pool, alloy axle with pin cushions , plastic out drives out back with composite axles and carbon drive shaft. Don't get any lighter.

Mike's car is very well done. Was nice seeing another Driveshaft car racing. That Tamiya car looked good.

Driveshaft is the way to go. I think if you have a smooth throttle finger it will suit you.

We were both clicking fast laps , hard work pushing a Caddilac down that long straight.

You got the right combination of available parts to run the lightest drivetrain possible, and it works... I am going to add aluminum axles(custom made)/input shafts to that combo, and give it a go on the black carpet 17.5t blinky...Cheers....

Yes, and I got a hudy setup station to help that too...Zero steel in my car: that's my goal.... It should all come together in the winter... See you guys at the track, and I hope to find a few exo6 cars there too...

Does the carbon reinforced A parts (gear case) set (#54098) come with both gear cases for front and rear or do you have to buy 2 sets.
