I have blue bling, purple bling, black bling, even gold bling. It's all good as long as the colors match.

Would any one be able to give me a eye ball close measurement from the top of the chassis to the center (ish) of the center shaft?

Wondering how high the center of the drive line is off the chassis.

Really appreciate it.

So you get different sway bar braces (cheap enough to buy seperate), new motor mount and alumnum chassis (pointless if you do the exo conversion), a different shock tower mount (what is different, does lower the towers for the TBB shocks?), and new low profile TBB shocks (great, now I'll need all new springs).

If I look at getting a third ride when I get back from my Uncle Sam provided vacation, I'll be looking to get an original Evo6 to convert. I can't see the benifit of the changes if you run the exo conversion.

I love EXOTEK, They make great products...

But I dont think Tamiya is in the business of selling EXOTEK product.. Therefore these are invalid arguments

Take it for what it is.. Tamiya improved their design..

thats a bold statement

if, you said "Exotek is the only reason the EVO6 is being raced at the REEDY Race level", I would believe you

according to the MS manual, the evo6 carbon chassis can be use for tuning.
so i don't see why the aluminum chassis can't be use on evo6.

Tamiya did improve the design. The motor/spur layshaft looks greatly improved. Much more support than before. The upper damper stays are apparently lighter, and I'm sure the aluminum chassis will improve handling.

My point was though, that if you plan on running the exo conversion, all the improvements will be wasted.
