The menus are almost exactly the same as the Duratrax Ice. The only differences appear to be the backlight, discharge rate of 20 amps, the case, and the motor run in can be programmed in hours(duratrax is set by mins and secs, up to 180 mins). It also has the same type and lenght of connectors for the battery and power supply.

this is a rebadged version of the supernova competition,

I have had mine for just over 2 months now, we have bee discussing it in the Australian Subforum, here
http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthre...ight=supernova

the menu's are the same as the Ice just the Competition has 20A discharge, the temp sensor included and blue back light,

picked it up here for about AUD$270 (approx USD$200) and is well worth it,

You'd think all the companys would listen racers want 30amp discharge and at least 14 amp motor run in.

The best discharger is the track. It has the exact amperage discharge curve you need. And you get practice at the same time.
I agree with you on the motor run in / lathe amperage.
